My name is Emily Murphy, and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist at North Middle School. I am originally from Wisconsin and moved to Colorado to start my career and enjoy all that Colorado has to offer. I am passionate about working with students to increase their communication abilities across different contexts and people. I am a strong proponent for providing opportunities for relational connection, academic success, and self-expression through communication. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.

North Edge Characteristic that resonates with you and why:
The characteristic that resonates with me most is “we serve our community”. This is important to me because I focus on and am passionate about helping students build communication skills so they can participate meaningfully and fully in the different communities that they are a part of (school, family, city, etc.).
