I am a native of Colorado in which I was raised in the Greater Park Hill Community from a family of five children. I attended Denver Public School for elementary and middle school, therefore completing high school. I lived in the Washington, D.C. area for several years until 2000, which I relocated back to Denver, CO. It is a pleasure to have worked in the educational field for the past 19 yrs. I have had the awesome opportunity to travel internationally to several different countries, and this is a HUGE passion of mine that is at the top of my priorities. Huge love for family and friends, which make life worth living. I enjoy outdoor sports-avid Broncos Fan, Salsa Dancing, Gourmet Cooking, Crocheting, Amusement Parks, Cake Decorating, Theater and Arts…and all things SAFE and FUN!!

In my work daily as an instructor, I strive to create learning environments to prompt critical thinking, high engagement, student collaboration, creativity and project-based learning. I recognize that, “one size does not fit all” regarding individual learning and I am committed to providing differentiated instruction to ensure the success of all students. I am not only their teacher, but also the coach to help develop their individual talents and guide them to success.
