NME & MTSS Practices
NME Practice at North
For three years North partnered with Educational Access Group to bring trauma-informed best practices into our building (based in the Neurosequential Model in Education). This work focuses on the impacts of stress on students' brains and bodies and how our school can be a safe, supportive and regulating environment where students are able to build skills academically, socially and emotionally. Through this work staff have a deep understanding of how to best meet students where they are developmentally and emotionally and leverage students strengths to create opportunities for success.
