About me: Originally from Michigan, I moved here 15 years ago and began my teaching career in APS. I started as an elementary teacher, but soon realized that middle school students are my favorite age group to support! My daughter will also be going into middle school this year so I’m anxious for a busy and fun filled year both at home and school. I am so excited to be part of the North community and look forward to meeting everyone!

North Edge Characteristic that resonates with you and why: “Drive” from the North Edge Characteristics resonates most strongly with me. I find so much joy in supporting students during the school day, but more so in their after school activities. Building relationships with students and families also happens throughout community events and this is my favorite time to connect with others.
