Hello! My name is Alex, and I will be the 8th grade counselor at North for the 2023-2024 school year. I have been with APS since 2018 supporting students with their mental health and wellbeing. I am a California transplant living with my husband and two pups, Sunny and Millie. My favorite pastimes include: hiking, coffee, film photography, and a good nap. I am very excited to call North my new home!"

The North Edge Characteristic that resonates most with who I am as a person and counselor is “Good Energy”. I take pride in my ability to spread kindness and positivity in the workplace. My primary focus as a counselor is to build strong rapport with students and their families in both an engaging and caring way. I believe in supporting the whole child to ensure their success in and out of school. Being a school counselor is my dream job!
