About me: I am a Missourian excited for life in Colorado! I have been teaching for 5 years in Missouri in both elementary school and middle school ELA. I’ve also been head coach of my building’s cross country team. I am so looking forward to joining the North Middle School team in the 2023/2024 school year. I have one chihuahua named Peanut. For fun, I enjoy quilting, reading, and spending time in the great outdoors. Some of my favorite middle grade books include: Esperanza Rising, The Witch of Blackbird Pond, Holes, and Front Desk.
